Saltbush Rabbitry Hobart — Reservation Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you pay a deposit to reserve a bunny from Saltbush Rabbitry Hobart. By paying your deposit, you agree to the following.

Waitlist

Joining our waitlist is free and does not reserve a bunny.

Waitlist families are contacted in the order they joined, for the bunny that best matches their family, when a suitable bunny becomes available.

Reserving a Bunny

A 50% deposit reserves a specific bunny. Without a deposit, a bunny is not reserved and may be offered to another family.

Deposits are not refundable if you change your mind, but your deposit can be moved to another available bunny before your reserved bunny goes home.

If we're unable to provide the bunny you reserved (for example, due to illness), we'll offer you another bunny or refund your deposit in full.

Saltbush Rabbitry Hobart may decline or refund a reservation if we feel it is not in the best interest of the bunny.

Matching

We do our best to match preferences (breed, colour, gender), but specific traits cannot be guaranteed — nature does her thing!

Pickup & Balance

The remaining 50% is paid at pickup.

Bunnies go home at 10 weeks of age, ready for their first vaccination at your vet.

Pickup is from our rabbitry in Hobart, Tasmania, by appointment, or transport can be arranged at the buyer's expense.

After Your Bunny Goes Home

We don't offer refunds once your bunny has gone home.

If it doesn't work out, please contact us. We will take your bunny back and find them a loving new home. There is no fee and no time limit.

You are responsible for ongoing veterinary care, vaccinations and desexing after pickup.

Health & Your Rights

All bunnies leave Saltbush Rabbitry Hobart in good health, to the best of our knowledge.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a bunny has a significant health problem that was present at the time of sale, you may be entitled to a remedy.

We cannot be responsible for health issues that arise after pickup due to environment, diet, or handling.

Final Notes

Bunnies are sold as pets only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By paying a deposit, you confirm you are ready to welcome a bunny as a cherished family member.

We take pride in raising well-socialised, healthy bunnies and thank you for supporting ethical breeding.
